Case Study Video: Regional Arts and Education Networks

A film has been produced to explain more about the work of the four Arts and Education Networks in Wales, established to take forward actions in the ‘Creative Learning Through the Arts’ programme, including brokering relationships between the arts and education sectors.

“The main purpose of the networks is to create an awareness, in both the education and arts sectors, of what the other is doing and what’s happening… So really it’s about having a big collective brain in the cloud of what’s going and what could go on.” David Baxter, A2 Connect

“Bringing the arts into schools will help a lot of children. There are lots of children who want to do and not sit.” Rebecca Pratt, Teacher

“It’s just fantastic the Welsh Government and the Arts Council have come together on this project and invested money and time and training so this can have legacy.” David Powell, Arts Champion for Arts & Education Network: South East Wales
